Fluid Power Association officially joined CETOP on 19 June 2009 on the General Assembly Session of this organization that took place in Istanbul, Turkey.

Established in 1962, CETOP (Comite Europeen des Transmission Oleohydrauliques and Pneumatiques), unites national associations involved in hydraulics and pneumatics from 18 European countries, which for their’s part connect more than 1000 companies throughout Europe.

CETOP creates and maintains favorable conditions and assists industry of hydraulic and pneumatic manufacturing. Jointly with ISO (International standards organization), CEN (European standard committee) and other national organizations takes part in standards development.
